last post

I really enjoy it because it was entertained and I liked. We always had to post something different about our ideals jobs, our major, our favorite piece of art, our favorite piece of technology, our favorite photograph, and in the first post we had to introduce us. Often it was something difficult because I don`t knew how I could post. I never had a blog, it was never I liked me.

We had Learn new words and used them in a new post. That exercise makes us learn more words and makes big our vocabulary helping us to improve our English skills, And it gave to us the safety of which part that we put it in the different post could be learn it to continue improving

Before make this kind of exercises I didn’t know some words like major (for give an example). These exercises wouldn’t opportunists if we don’t practice them and learn those (learning more words in class in the different text that we had).

The advantages or disadvantages of blogging in the English class probably would be….

Advantages:

- You can learn the English language
- It’s entertained and didactic
- Gives to us the pledge of learn
- We knew new words associated with our future works

Disadvantages:

- The most of the time we have to finish it in our house.
- We had a very little time to do the post.
- The computers that We used were not very good. Often I had to change computer to do the post, and sometimes the computer turn off (I don`t know how) and I lose everything that I did in the class


In conclusion I think that it was an entertaining way of learn English. The better thing of everything is that it is a didactic way that does not provoke boredom.

my ideal job

My ideal job is being a soccer player. That is the dream of my life: play in the F.C Barcelona with all its superstars like Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Charles Puyol.
I’ll need different qualities and skills like: talent with the soccer ball, velocity, acceleration, precision, teamwork, speed of the passes, and power of shot, defense.
I think I’ll be good because I have the desires, and I’ll focus only on my work (unlike what other persons could do) because I want to be the best soccer player ever. (That is difficult. Be better than Pele or Maradona, but I agree to win the golden ball even that is once, to be the best of the world for a season like it was Zinedine Zidane). Also I hope be part of the national selection team and play a world tournament (that is the dream of the most soccer players), and have a lot of money like Cristiano Ronaldo
For me it’s so difficult can find this kind of job, because I’m nineteen years old and the majority of the soccer players to this age already are professional players and they play in the most competitives leagues of the world

The piece of art that I like is La Pietà; is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture. It was created on marble between 1498 and 1499 by Michelangelo. (He was an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer).
Michelangelo's Pietà, represent a depiction of the body of Jesus on the lap of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion.
I saw it for the first time in the history channel on a TV program, and I liked it because it is beautiful. I don’t understand how the artist makes this piece of art so real, and gives to it different interpretations. One is that the Mary´s youth symbolizes her incorruptible purity.
In general, I like all the works of art that are like a photography, but this work is more than it ... it is a masterpiece. today the Pietà is located in the vatican city and is visited b millon persons every year.

education

The education of our days has been changing. The most of our parents (bouth of them) need to work for survive in a capitalist world, leaving their childrens in the schools.
Today, the school has been change (now, the schools are a baby day care). The teachers don´t only must tech them, they also must take care of them.
In my opinion that is one of the problems that have the education of our days. If the teachers don´t only must teach, they couldn´t teach to the childrens creative methods of education and just teach the basic thing that the children must know without leaving space to which they could develop his creative skills.
Probably this it is the major problem of our generation. We, our sisters and brothers, we don´t possess big creative skills, except that we have developed it for us themselves when we went alone in our houses.

the best in my field

In my opinion, the best in my field is Marco Enriquez-Ominami. He is one of the youngest politicians in my country and he gives new ideas for the politic in our time.

Now, the Chilean politic has been controlled for a group of the politicians that they has been part of the different governments, since come back the democracy to our country. They give the same idea for a lot of years transforming them in a closed group like a “politic oligarchy”; without leaving space a new generation of politicians. Members of the older politicians are: Eduardo Frei, Adolfo Zaldivar, Jovino Novoa, among others.

That older political idea is withering with the born of a new generation of politicians like Marco Enriquez-Ominami, actually he is deputy and a candidate for the presidency. For this he had to resign his political party, since this one supports the candidacy of Eduardo Frei, and in my opinion, this one supports the political oligarchy.

It’s for that reason that he like me and is the best because He resigns his political party to continue his ideals and gives to us the possibility of change this “politic oligarchy”.

This photo was taken by an uncle, Juan, my mother's brother, in "El Quisco", a locality nearby to Santiago, SS in this picture, I appear with four cousins: Andres, Miguel, Rodrigo and Antoine, in the middle of the beach, "Punta Tralca".
The photo was taken in the year 2002, I think, because I don´t remember exactly.

I like this pic, because I remember that in these vacations we did many things such as: play soccer every evening, we go to parties and we used to come back to home at 7 a.m., we wake up every day at 3pm, we went to karaokes and there we sang without shame, we met new people and we made new friends.

These vacations were the last ones that we spent together, with all my cousins, and I will always remember it, because it have been one of the best vacations of my life, and these holidays made us feel, not anymore, like cousins; was much closer, like brothers.

my major!

I’m studying public management at the University of Chile. I chose this major because I didn’t get the score to study law in this university so Public Management was my second choice, and know I really like it because I like the politic science and also the management but now I’m a little confused so don’t know what minor I’ll choose the next year.

We can contribute to society doing public politics and giving help to the citizens with their different problems like: health, education and transport. My favorite subject is law because I understand the different management laws, and for the public management this is very important, “we can only do what the law says”, and also because it is easier than other subjects.

I think that a very important tool that I can take from this major is to learn about the public legislation because is very important to know wich ones are our rights and the citizen’s rights, that way in the future I will know what I can do to help them.
